Qualified Nonprofit Organizations - sign up now to receive up to 5% of the proceeds of each DEAzzLe in which the purchaser of the DEAzzLe has selected your charity organization to benefit from his or her purchase. There is no cap on what your organization can earn. The proceed checks are mailed out bi-annually.

WHY do we DeazzLe for Nonprofits?

It’s important to the Founders of Deazzle to MAKE A DIFFERENCE in our COMMUNITY. We work our BEST when we spend our time working on ‘CAUSES OF THE HEART’. WE WRITE A CHECK for a percentage off the top of our proceeds (Yes, our proceeds – not our profits) because we feel strongly that each American should be actively involved in giving back to his or her community.
Of course we have developed Deazzle to generate a profit and Deazzle is a for profit business. We need to continue to generate proceeds to have money to DONATE – it’s a BEAUTIFUL thing!

How do you become a Deazzle qualified nonprofit organization?

The online application is very straight forward and easy to complete. Once we have received your completed application, we will review it for completeness and verify that your organization meets our criteria:

Your nonprofit organization is a 501 (c ) (3) organization as defined by the IRS.

The IRS has you listed on their 501(c) (3) list of tax-exempt organizations. We periodically check the list because believe it or not, the IRS can say an organization qualifies under section 501(c ) (3) and then if all doesn’t go well, the IRS can revoke that determination.

Your organization has completely filled out the initial application and, if applicable, all subsequent year re-certifications.

Your organization has active buyers that have selected your organization to benefit.

How long does it take to appear on the website to be selected
by Deazzle buyers?

 

It may take a couple of weeks for us to review your organization and ensure that all criteria are met. When you submitted your application, you should have received an email from us saying “Thanks for Making a Difference in Your Community”. If you didn’t receive this email, please check your spam filter to ensure it didn’t get trapped. If you still can’t find any email from us, please contact us via email so that we can ensure that we have received your application.

How do I get buyers to select my organization to benefit?

 

There are multiple ways – we’ve included a few here:

1. Send an email blast to your organization’s contacts telling them about the Deazzle opportunity(we have some templates
prepared for your use).

 

2. Send a letter to your organization’s contacts asking them to sign up for Deazzle and to choose your organization (we have some template letters available for your use).

 

3. Hand out a Deazzle bookmark.

Include articles about your organization’s Deazzle opportunity in your newsletter.

Include information in your bulletin about how your organization may earn money with Deazzle.

YOU know your members and business better than us, so you may have better ideas to benefit your organization. Go ahead and try them or feel free to contact us. We would love to talk to you about other ways to increase the names in our database that have selected your organization.
